Mommy's Little Boy and a Freebie!

I have another great kit to show you today from B2N2 Scraps, called Mommy's Little Boy. If you have a special little boy in your life, then this is the perfect kit for you. This kit is ALL BOY! It's full of toys that little boys like to play with-airplanes, balls, blocks, books, buckets, cars, dinosaurs, sticks, teddy bears, rocks, tractors, trains, trucks and wagons. Misty O'Brien Scrap On! and Behind The Lens

I have a few layouts to show you from Misty O'Brien. The first one is from her newest kit called Scrap On! I love the colors and it is a great mini-kit that has colors perfect for Christmas too. It is really versatile. I was actually able to scrap one of my favorite pictures from my wedding!

I used another template from Manda's Scrappin' Creations Template Pack 7 for this layout.

I was also able to work with Misty's kit Behind the Lens, which is a collab with Jen Balding of Girl Boy Girl Designs. I love the colors in this kit also!

I can't tell you how excited I am right now!! A few weeks ago, one of my favorite designers, Misty O'Brien Designs, had a CT call. I was so nervous but figured, why not give it a go! And she accepted me to be on her team! YAY!! If you haven't seen any of Misty's work before, check out her blog and her store at Funky Playground Designs!! Wow, I didn't realize it has been almost a month since I posted here! I've been busy though! I had to have surgery at the beginning of the month but all is well now. Even though I haven't blogged, I have scrapped and I have some great stuff to show off today.

Becky of B2N2 Scraps has come out with a great new bundle featuring My Piggy Bank (Boy), My Piggy Bank (Girl), and Credit Card Alpha!! The textures of the papers are fantastic and the colors are perfect. It can be used for all the great shots of your kids putting money into their very own piggy banks but the kits are also very versatile. You can pick up each piece separately or get the bundle here.

I had the perfect pictures to use with this kit. My mother in law is a quilter and made each of my daughters a beautiful quilt when they were born. Here are my layouts. The first layout is for the August Template Challenge over at Stuff To Scrap! The template is by Scraps N Pieces.

Boys and Girls of Summer

I just have to tell you... I HAD SO MUCH FUN WITH THIS KIT!! Shel Belle Scraps has a new release coming out this week. It's FREE and it's a collab with The Scrappy Kat. Both parts are awesome and perfect for pictures of the beach, backyard, sprinkler, pool, etc. It is so much fun. I actually ended up making 3 different layouts with this one. Sail Away

The next kit I was able to work with is Sail Away. It is great for any nautical type pictures you may have. Unfortunately, I did not have any nautical pictues but I did use some from the 4th of July. Here are the layouts I created.

School Days Mega Kit & QP's

So, during a speed scrap a few weeks ago, Becky, aka SAHM Scrapper, asked for some guest CT's for a huge mega kit she was putting together so I voluteered! She was reading some older threads in a digital scrapbook forum about a lady begging for someone to make a QP book that she could put pictures in for someone special. Well, long story short, she had put in a lot of requests but in the end, no one was able to help her. So, Becky decided to take the challenge on. And this was the result! Becky has good timing too with graduation being right around the corner... What a great gift idea!!

This kit is extermely versatile with all sorts of pictures. Becky used 9 basic colors so you have tons of color combinations and elements in each color! Once the kit was made, she enlisted her CT and then a few Guest CT's, that's where I come in, to put together some QP's. We ended up making 45!! WOW!

So, there are two main parts of this bundle- the kit and the QP's. You can buy the kit in pieces or all together. And, you can buy the QP's alone or with the kit in a big bundle.

Lilac Love

So, I've been sick for that whole week with a killer migraine and haven't updated my blog.. So bad, so there will be a few posts today!!

Shel Belle has another great kit on her blog this week and every Sunday you can pick up a portion of it. Be quick though because by the next Sunday it will be gone. This week is the beautiful Lilac Love!! I love this kit. It is sooo very pretty.. My wedding colors were purple too so I may have to do another layout for my wedding album!! Here are the layouts I have made with it so far and then you will be able to see the preview of the 1st week.

I'm so happy to announce that I, yep...little ole me, was accepted to be a member of Shel Belle Scraps creative team! I got to work with the kit Buttercup which she is giving away free on her blog this month. Each month she has been giving away bits and pieces of a monochromatic kit. January was Frosty, February was Love Ya, and March is Buttercup.

Here is my first layout with the kit. I also used it for the Song Lyric Challenge at STS. I'm going to try to make 1 or 2 more layouts with this kit and see what I can come up with.

I've been becoming more and more active in the Stuff To Scrap forum and doing all sorts of challenges. It has been fun and very rewarding. Some of my layouts have been nominated for Layout of the month! I didn't win but the nominations were wonderful.

A few layouts to get me started

Well, this is my first blog post. I have been scrapbooking for about 10 years but never seem to get anything accomplished other than buying a lot of stuff and storing it in my room. I recently discovered digi-scrapping and let me tell you.... I LOVE IT!! I have been getting layouts done and am having so much fun with it. This is where I'm going to start posting my layouts for all to see. I simply love digi-scrapping and am in love with the community. I have been spending sometime at my favorite store/community Stuff to Scrap. They have a lot of fun challenges over there and that is where my layouts are posted.
